Roberto Maria Lino

Roberto Maria Lino lives and works in Rome. In 2020, he graduated in Painting II with 110 cum laude from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Through the analysis of his own past, he tries to relive and re-imagine his childhood in a more dreamy way: from the age of 4, he was taken by his father to the operating room to witness open-heart surgery. In his works, Maria Lino mainly investigates family relationships, especially the one between father and son. Recycled materials play a key role in his artistic research, indeed he is committed to giving new life to already existing materials.
